The exhibition contains large and small abstract paintings by Käferstein with drawings-collages and paintings by Shalem. 

A dialogue is created between their painterly approaches, zooming in and out of perceptions, proportions and scale, moving in between the airy and the solid, the concrete and the suggested.

As part of the show there is also the recent audiovisual project by duo SpOp&Bruinsma, which is Shalem with musician Dirk Bruinsma. Titled Cymph it refers to the film genre ‘City Symphonies’, portraying a day in the life of a city.

The show is a 30-40min. live music and image. Film material stemming from sites in the Netherlands, the UK, France and Germany as well as sound recordings and segments of interviews.

Bruinsma plays a bass guitar, electronics and percussion on a pleathora of found objects. Shalem mixes live a wide range of video loops, combining architecture with CGI animations and textures.
